Having talents like Clive's on board the game industry can only be a good thing. Heres hoping for a title based on 'Weaveworld', that would be most welcome.
Golden eye was a great game, the best of its day but i haven't been to keen on the rest of free radicals stuff since, timesplitters was pretty average so even though im interested in Haze im not sold quite yet. It could be great but from what ive seen so far im sceptical. Hopefully i will be pleasently surprised as a new franchise is always welcome.
I remeber when Halo1 came out and it was a breath of fresh air. FPS's at the time were grey and striving for realism and the colour pallet of Halo made it stand head and shoulders above the rest. I love the blue skies and green grass. Yeah i love the killzone footage and gears but the colours of Halo win me over everytime.

I think the price is fine in the US but i do think the UK is getting a rough deal. £425 is a lot of money for a console, i know there selling in places for £399 at the moment but that is only till september then the price is going up again as the 80gig models role in. With the 360 selling for £279 and having more games on the shelves its obvious what people are going to choose. And to add insult they took the emotion chip out for the UK models so were paying more for less....co...
I live in the uk and love my PS3 but, im in the minority. The 360 is otselling the PS3 here and has been from the start( except from the first week of PS3's launch. This is a fact, any Uk sales figures will tell you this. I oversea a very large chain of game shops here and keep watch on our sales constantly. I often try to push the PS3 in our chain but the fact is in the UK the 360 outsells it.
Luckily it's not like this in the rest of the world.
A lot of the reason for comapnies syaing the PS3 is hard to develop for is because Sony hasn't given as much support to developers as some of their compititors have. A lot of software companies have spoken about this and in Sonys defence they are rectifiying the situation.
I wonder what number they will pull out of the hat next week.

The ESRB refused to give Manhunt2 a rating so you won't be able to get it in the UK. Personally i think if your over 18 you should be able to play what the hell you want. The media is always saying that Games are emotionally stunted but if whenever the indusrty pushes the boundaries are tries to cater for adults they ban them, what do they expect
Wasn't to sure about this game at first even though im a fan of Barker's work but it's starting to sound fairly intersesting now.

These are really good figures from Sony after all the bad press the had early on. I do think reaching 14 mill by March is a bit hopeful though. Thats over a million a month. Even taking the festive period into account thats a huge number. And you can bet Microsoft are keeping a close eye on these figures, if they drop there price which is very likely it could crash Sonys party.
But this aside, its great ts doing well.

When Halo2 was released xbox sales doubled for the rest of the year. Halo 3 will probably have the same effect. Expect huge sales this Christmas.
I knew this was coming. Games are the scapegoat at the moment for just about every crime being commited. What annoys me is that parents buy games for there kids which are not suitable for them and then get a shock and call there lawyers when then hear words like 'f*ck' coming out of there tv.
Adult games are for adults , and as adults we should be allowed to play them.
If i can watch movies like Saw and porn till the cows come home then surely i have a right to play adult game...

The E3 trailer with the troops coming down on the drop looked amazing but this video looks ropey. Bit shabby. Im sure this is down to the poor video though and not the game as the rest of what ive seen looks awsome.
This game is gonna be amazing. There is no way the 360 is gonna be able to compete with this
I was really looking forward to Heavenly Sword earlier in the year but the more i see and read about it the more im put off.
The latest videos show the A.I to be poor and the gameplay looks repetative. The graphics look fantastic but i wish they had a bit more exploration and things to do in it. I just expected a bit more from it than a visual update of DMC.
If i create an american account would i be able to download this as i live in England?
